Our Story

Jubilee Christian Center was founded June 1997 as a non-denominational, 501-C3 incorporation, by Dale and Colleen Litsey. They began services at 15th and Florida Ave. in a large two story building, formerly owned by the old South side Baptist Church.  In 2002, the church founded Jubilee Christian Academy, a private Christian school for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.  The church also operated a daycare for toddlers, preschool, and students in need of after school care.  These two outreaches are no longer in existence.

In 2006, the church purchased twenty-one acres and two buildings north of Okmulgee on highway 75, where it is presently located.  The two buildings were joined together and remodeled with added space.  A couple of years later another building was built to serve as a multi-purpose facility.
